Showerthought: my $8 plastic speed square beat the $45 fancy one I babied for 2 years
The expensive one in my apron ended up covered in glue and the markings rubbed off in 6 months, while the cheap one I grabbed at a hardware store in Gary still reads true. Turns out I was scared to use the good one, which kind of defeats the point. Anyone else got a beater tool that outworked the fancy one?
