Can we talk about how seaming tape quality shifted after 2019?

I used to buy the cheap rolls from a local supply house in Dayton and never had a seam pop, but since 2020 I've had three callbacks on the same brand and now I stick to the heavier stuff. Anyone else notice the adhesive changed or did I just get unlucky batches?
