Am I the only one who thinks the 80% charge rule is overblown for daily drivers?
My brother in law has kept his Bolt capped at 80% for 3 years and he's always sweating range on our trips up to Toledo. I plug my car in every night to full, 22,000 miles later and my guess-o-meter still shows 258 on a warm day. Maybe I'll eat those words at 100k, but babying a car you're gonna trade in anyway feels like saving the good china for guests. Anyone here actually seen real range loss from charging to 100% daily, or is it all just forum lore?
