The cheap charger advice from a stranger in Flagstaff was spot on

Guy at a rest stop told me to skip the fast chargers and use the Level 2 at the library downtown. Saved me $14 and my battery stayed cooler on that 110 degree day. Has anyone else gotten solid tips from random folks at charging spots?

And that library tip is a good one because most people overlook the public buildings. I had a guy in Oregon tell me to check the county courthouse parking lot, they had six free Level 2 spots nobody ever used. Charged there while I grabbed lunch and walked around, no stress about the battery heat at all. Now I always pull up PlugShare and look for municipal lots first, they're way more reliable than the paid ones half the time.
