Fell for the hype at a fancy burger joint downtown and lost $25 on a dry patty with truffle mayo
Everyone kept raving about this place near Market Street, but my burger was overcooked and the fries were cold by the time they hit the table. Anybody else find that trendy spots with big crowds are more miss than hit for cheap eats?

Did you try asking for extra salt... that usually helps me out.

Extra salt is just the beginning honestly. It's like that same principle applies to so many things in daily life. People forget that asking for small adjustments upfront can completely change the outcome for the better. Like ordering takeout and being specific about extra sauce or no onions, it's the same thing. Once you start noticing it, you see it everywhere - in restaurants, at the store, even with customer service calls. Just speaking up a little can save so much frustration later. You ever notice how most people just accept the default instead of asking for what actually works for them?
