The $4.50 burrito I used to get is now $7 even though nothing changed

I've been getting a breakfast burrito from a little taqueria on 14th Street for about two years now, and the price was sitting at $4.50 the whole time until last month. Now it's $7 even though they didn't change the size or ingredients at all. Has anyone else seen a random jump like that from their regular spots and found out why?

Maybe they finally had to adjust for the rising cost of eggs and cheese.

That $2.50 jump hit me hard too except at my spot El Fuego on 5th Ave their bean and cheese went from $3 to $5.50 overnight and the cashier just shrugged and said "supplies went up" like that explained everything. I asked what supplies and he just pointed at the tortillas like tortillas suddenly became luxury goods or something. Honestly I think these places just realized we were all too lazy to argue and decided to tax our morning hunger. My wallet is crying but my stomach still wins every single time so I just pay it and mutter about inflation under my breath.
