A guy at the Wrigleyville dog park told me about the 7am trash pickup on my block, and it fixed my Monday mornings
My garbage kept piling up on the curb because I was putting it out Sunday night at 9pm and the rats on my street in Lakeview were having a field day. This older dude named Frank who walks his beagle there every morning told me the city actually swings by my block at 7am sharp, so I started wheeling my bins out at 6:45 instead. Anyone else had a neighbor give you a random tip that actually worked?
