Pro tip: the blue line secret I wish I knew 10 years ago

I used to waste 40 minutes every morning waiting for packed buses on Western until a coworker told me to walk 3 blocks to the California stop on the Blue Line instead. Turns out the trains run way more frequent and I get a seat 9 times out of 10 now. Anyone else got a weird transit shortcut that saved them time?

My buddy Sarah used to miss her connection at Clark/Lake every single day because the Orange Line never lined up right. Then she figured out if she just hops on the Blue Line two stops earlier at Damen she saves like 15 minutes. Now she gets home before her leftovers go cold.

Wait, she'd miss her connection at Clark/Lake every single day? That's wild, I mean how did she not just lose her mind after the first week of that. I feel like I'd just give up and start working remotely or something, that level of daily frustration would break me. Maybe it's just me but I'd probably end up moving closer to the Blue Line just to avoid that whole nightmare.
