That $60 chimney camera I bought on a whim already paid for itself twice
Three weeks back I picked up a cheap endoscope off Amazon to check a flue liner on a rental house. Thought it would be junk but the picture was clear enough to spot a crack the homeowner's inspector missed. That one find turned into a relining job worth $1,400. Then yesterday I used it again to fish out a bird nest that was way lower than I expected. Anyone else using a camera on every sweep now or am I just getting paranoid about hidden damage?
