My old man's advice about tires finally made sense last Friday

Dad always said to keep classic cars on bias ply tires because radials make the steering feel numb, and I spent 6 years ignoring that until I test drove a '67 Mustang with radials at a lot outside Dayton and felt exactly what he meant. Has anyone else gone back to older tire tech after fighting modern upgrades for a while?
