My bike pump died on me during a 20 mile ride, turns out I overcomplicated things
My old floor pump blew its seal last Saturday when I was filling up before a ride on the Cuyahoga trail, so I ran to the gas station and grabbed a $8 portable one. It took me three tries and a soaked shirt to hit 60 psi, but the funny part is that cheap thing worked fine, my fancy one was just overengineered junk. Has anyone else found that basic gear beats the high end stuff when it comes to cutting your own emissions and waste?
