I finally listened to my brother about learning loops before frameworks
When I started coding in 2019, my older brother Dave told me to spend two weeks just writing for loops and while loops in Python before touching any framework. I ignored him and jumped straight into React because it sounded cooler, then spent a whole weekend stuck on a simple list rendering bug that a for loop would have made obvious. Last month I went back and did his boring loop drills for 6 days, and suddenly tutorials that confused me for years just clicked. Did anyone else get told to slow down at the start, or did you all jump right into the shiny stuff too?
