Finally fixed my milk steaming after 6 weeks of bad foam

I kept getting big bubbles in my latte art foam no matter what I tried. Turned out my pitcher was too small for the amount of milk I was using. Switched to a 12oz pitcher and it came out perfect on the first try. Has anyone else had a simple fix like that take way too long to figure out?

Huh, I actually see it differently. I think the pitcher size is way less important than how you position the steam wand tip. I was stuck with bad foam for months until I stopped angling the pitcher so much and just kept the tip right at the surface. Even with the wrong size pitcher that little change fixed everything for me.

Oh man, that's the worst when it's something so obvious staring you in the face the whole time. I spent a month blaming my technique before realizing my thermometer was off by like 15 degrees.
