I finally found a fix for my watery cold brew, but I can't tell if it's genius or cheating
My cold brew came out weak and watery for weeks until I tried steeping it in the fridge for 18 hours instead of on the counter, and it fixed the problem overnight. Now a friend says cold brew should always steep at room temp and that chilling it just slows the extraction, so which is it? Has anyone else tried the fridge method and gotten a stronger cup, or am I fooling myself?
