Old plumber in Baltimore told me they don't make cast iron like they used to, now I'm second guessing every repipe
He pointed at a 60 year old stack still going strong next to a 12 year old PVC line that was already sagging, and asked me why we're so quick to rip out stuff that's outlived us, so now I'm wondering how many repipes I've sold that didn't need to happen.
