Hot take: the $12 USB dock I almost tossed in a Boise hotel room taught me to check power draw first
Plugged a client's docking station into my bench meter after it kept dropping monitors and it was pulling 2.3 amps on a 2 amp brick, so I swapped the adapter and it ran fine for 6 months, has anyone else caught a power supply hiding behind a 'bad dock' ticket?
