How hard is it to find rental units in Phoenix anyway? I used to swear by owning my own gear but after a few breakdowns like this I've switched to renting for big pours.

Heard from a buddy who runs a crew down there that it's actually gotten a LOT easier in the last couple years. He said there's like 3 or 4 new rental yards popped up near the 101 and they're all competing on price now. Just make sure you call ahead because they book up fast when the monsoons start rolling through.
