Walked the new sidewalk pour at the Riverside Park job and caught the control joints off by 3 inches
Was killing time near Riverside Park in Dayton and looked at the fresh walk they poured near the ball field. Whoever laid out the saw cuts spaced them about 11 feet apart instead of the 8 foot max for that slab thickness, so I'm betting on a crack by fall. Curious if anyone here has seen a pour fail from stretched joints like that, or am I overthinking it?
