Warning: I let my nephew pick my game for a month and it fixed my backlog
My nephew is 12 and he stayed with us for 3 weeks in July, so I handed him my console and said pick whatever you want us to play. I figured he would go straight for the shooters, but he picked a farming game and a puzzle game I had sitting unopened since 2022. We beat both in about 14 hours total and I had more fun than with anything I bought myself that year. Turns out I was buying games to feel like the person who plays them, not to actually play them. What is the weirdest pick someone else made for you that actually worked out?
