Figured quick attach buckets were a gimmick until my back gave out
I ran a pin-on bucket on my skid steer for 9 years and always said swapping attachments was for guys with more money than sense. Then last month I helped a buddy dig 40 feet of footing in Green Bay and he had a quick attach setup, and we went from bucket to auger in under two minutes. My own swap takes me 15 minutes with a punch and hammer and usually some cussing. I priced out the adapter plate and it's around $900, and my lower back says that's cheap. Has anyone run one of those cheaper import plates, or should I just pay up for a name brand?
