Finally gave in and hung my laundry on a line after years of thinking it was a waste of time

Tried it last Sunday when my dryer broke and now my sheets smell like actual fresh air instead of that weird fabric softener scent, anyone else notice a huge difference in how your clothes feel after a few loads?

My grandma probably just smiled from heaven because I finally figured out what fresh air smells like after years of acting like I knew better lol.

There's something to that. It's like we've traded away small daily rituals for convenience without really thinking about it. My grandmother always line dried everything and said clothes lasted longer, and now I'm wondering if she was onto something. Same thing happened when I started making my own bread a few years back - it's just flour and water but the difference is night and day. We've got all these machines and products promising better results, but sometimes the old way really does work better.
