Update: Our 4-Player Switch Session Died Twice Last Night in St. Louis
We were finally running through Cuphead with my brother and his wife, got to the third boss, and the console just froze up. It happened again 15 minutes later after we swapped to Mario Kart, same exact spot in the menu. I ended up having to unplug the dock and reset the whole thing, but the second time even that took like 3 tries. Has anyone else had their Switch overheat on a hot night with four players crammed around the TV, or is it time to send mine in?

Man that sucks so bad! We had the exact same thing happen a few weeks ago here in KC when it was like 95 out and we had three people on Mario Party. The whole system just froze on the character select screen and the fan sounded like a jet engine. I thought it was just our old dock but we swapped to a different one and it still did it twice in an hour. Ended up putting a little desk fan behind the TV stand pointing right at the vents and that fixed it, but yeah these things definitely run hot with multiple players.
