Used to play 4 player split-screen Halo with screen looking, now we just do 2 player
Back in high school my buddies and I would cram 4 people on a single 32 inch CRT in my basement playing Halo 3. We'd literally lean in and squint at our tiny corner of the screen, but it was still the most fun nights ever. Now my roommate and I stick to 2 player games like It Takes Two or Overcooked 2 on a 55 inch because it's way less chaotic. Does anyone still do 4 player split-screen on modern games or is that dead with online lobbies?

Dude you remember the screen looking too? I swear my neck still hurts from leaning over to see my tiny corner in Halo 3. Now I try 4 player split-screen on my 65 inch and half the time I accidentally shoot my teammate because I can't tell whose character is whose. My wife laughs at me every time I yell "wait is that you or the enemy?" during a tense moment. I guess online lobbies killed it for most people but man I miss those cramped basement nights.

Knew a guy who got so mad at @the_michael screen peeking he tackled him mid-game.
