Rant: my swing brake quit on a 60 foot pick over the fence line in Tacoma
Was booming out over a fence line in Tacoma last Tuesday with about 60 feet of stick out and the swing brake just let go when I set the load down, so the whole upper was creeping maybe 4 or 5 degrees after I centered it. I got the load grounded, killed the swing, and finished the day with a tag line guy and slow, short bumps, but the brake still slipped once more after that. Is this a call the dealer and park it situation, or is there anything I can check on the brake pedal linkage before I eat a service bill?
