Vent: I was the messy roommate and didn't know it until I saw my own dishes in the sink for 4 days
For 8 months I blamed my roommate Marcus for the kitchen always being a wreck. Last week he left for a wedding in Cleveland and the sink piled up anyway, and every dirty plate was mine. I counted 11 bowls on my side of the counter and my own mug from a Monday coffee. Turns out I was the guy leaving crumbs on the toaster and never wiping the stove. How do you apologize to someone for 8 months of silent blame without it getting weird?
