Heard a guy at the laundromat on 8th say his dryer was 'on its last legs' and I've been stuck on it for 2 days
I was folding towels last Tuesday when this older fella patted his machine and dropped that line, then just walked out like he hadn't handed me free gold. I think the reason it works is the double meaning, legs on a machine sounds dumb until you picture it actually limping to the curb. So do you all test new puns on strangers first, or do you workshop them somewhere before letting them loose on the public?
