Warning: I hit 200 dad jokes logged in my notebook and now my kid won't sit next to me
Started writing these down 8 months ago in a $3 spiral notebook from Walgreens, mostly to test which ones get a real groan vs a pity laugh. The tally hit 200 on Tuesday when I dropped "why don't eggs tell jokes? they'd crack each other up" at dinner, and my 11 year old just stared at me and asked if there was a limit. Anyone got a pun that actually earns a laugh from a preteen, or is that just not a thing that happens?
My joke notebook is basically a diary of my own bad decisions at this point. Pretty sure your kid asking about a limit is the closest thing to a laugh you're gonna get from a preteen.
