Spent 45 minutes troubleshooting earbuds that were just in pairing mode
Got a new pair of wireless earbuds Tuesday night and couldn't get them to connect to my laptop. Tried every trick I knew, restarting Bluetooth, deleting drivers, even rebooting the router for some reason. After 45 minutes I noticed the little LED was blinking blue the whole time, which means they were still in pairing mode. I had to hold the button for 8 seconds to actually activate pairing with the laptop. Felt like a complete idiot, but the sound quality on these is actually solid once they work. Anyone else ever spend way too long on something this dumb with their gear?

Wait, did the manual or the box actually say anything about that 8 second hold, or did you just stumble onto it?
