Can we talk about using hot glue vs super glue for desk planters?
My friend told me hot glue is the only way to hold moss to a small terrarium pot. After 3 days it all peeled off and I had to redo it with super glue. Has anyone else had hot glue fail on porous stuff like that?

My buddy tried the same thing on a moss-covered planter for his kitchen window. He swore by hot glue, said it was the quick and easy way to go. After about a week, the whole thing just slid off in one piece, moss and all. He ended up using super glue too, and it's been holding up fine ever since. Hot glue definitely doesn't seem to grab onto rough, porous stuff like moss or bark.
