Shoutout to stud finders after my shelf fell off the wall

I thought they were pointless until drywall anchors ended up in my breakfast cereal and PROVED me wrong.

Think about all the other stuff in your house you just trust to be solid. Old plumbing hiding rust, floorboards that squeak in one spot but seem fine right next to it... a stud finder is basically just admitting you don't trust the wall's word for it. Mine saved me from putting a heavy mirror over a bundle of electrical wires I never would have guessed were there. Finding the wood is just the first part of the detective work.
