Hit a construction dumpster behind a new housing development in Austin last week

Pulled out a bundle of brand new cedar fence boards that still had the plastic wrap on them, maybe 40 bucks worth of wood for free, has anyone else found decent lumber this way?

Oh man, my buddy found a whole pallet of brand new decking boards behind a Lowe's last month! He built a sweet little raised garden bed with them.

Did he check if they were pressure treated for ground contact? That stuff can leach chemicals into garden soil.
