Ugh I'm so bad about checking locks it's not even funny. Last month I left my apartment door unlocked for a whole grocery trip, talk about a safety fail. Makes me feel for @tessaw77's friend with the address mix up, that panic is real. You'd think I'd learn but my brain just checks out sometimes, you know? What's the one thing you always seem to forget?

My friend once sent a birthday gift to her old address because she didn't verify the shipping info. Took her weeks to sort that out.
