Why does nobody talk about resetting the sync counters before a storm rollout
Last month we had a crew in Memphis covering 14 sites for a water main inspection. The software kept showing two jobs as pending even though the guys on site said they closed them out. I spent a full morning on support chat and the fix was stupid simple. We had sync conflicts stacking up from a bad cell signal in the tunnel areas. Support told me to reset the sync counters in the admin panel before pushing the next batch of field updates. Did that and boom, everything matched by noon. Now I do it before every big multi-site day. Anyone else run into phantom pending jobs after a low signal stretch?
Man, that’s brutal. Phantom pending jobs after a bad signal stretch are like the hidden tax of field work, nobody warns you about them until you’re stuck on hold with support. We had the same thing happen up in the mountains last fall, three sites showed open for two days and the guys swore they closed them out. Resetting those counters before the next rollout is a solid ritual now, saves me from the same rabbit hole. Glad you got it sorted, that fix is way too easy to find by accident.
