Wasted $300 on a pre-finished hardwood bundle that was all different shades
Ordered a lot from a supplier I'd used before but this batch was all over the place. I mean half the planks looked like they came from different trees. Spent a whole afternoon trying to sort them out and still had to return half the box. Lost the shipping cost and the labor time. Anyone else run into this with online orders?

Man that sucks. I ordered a "rustic oak" bundle once and got planks that ranged from honey blonde to almost black, pretty sure they just swept the reject pile into that box. Spent three hours sorting by color and still had gaps that looked like a checkerboard. Ended up using the dark ones in a closet nobody will ever see. The shipping back cost me $45 on top of the restocking fee, so I feel your pain hard. Some of these suppliers must think we're blind or just desperate.
