Used to think going totally digital was the only green choice. Then I saw the numbers on how much energy those data centers and server farms really burn. Makes you realize a local paper system, especially with recycled materials, can actually stack up better for smaller scale work. Changed my whole view on this.

Yeah but your paper system still needs trucks to move it around and trees cut down lol. Data centers are getting way more efficient with clean energy too.

Back in 2020 I was all-in on going paperless for the green angle. Then I saw the real energy use numbers and realized our recycled paper system wasn't so far behind, maybe even better until the tech catches up.
