My sister wants to learn glassblowing, but I fear for our relationship

Teaching her could be fun, but what if she hates it or gets hurt... Some say family makes the best apprentices, others say keep work and family separate. Thoughts?

A buddy tried to teach his cousin basic woodworking and it was a disaster. The cousin rushed everything, ruined a table leg, and they argued for weeks. It just shows how a shared hobby can turn sour real fast with family involved.

For a long time, I was all for teaching family. Seeing a similar situation go wrong really changed my view.
