Somehow didn't ruin the color blend on a marble today. Miracle. How do you keep yours from going brown?

Actually, I don't mind when it goes a little brown sometimes (it can feel warmer, you know?). The trick for me is keeping the dark veins really separate and using a much lighter base color than you think you need. A tiny bit of a cool gray in the mix can stop the whole thing from turning muddy.

Two thin glazes worked for me, @elizabeth_wells, and that cool gray tip really helps, doesn't it?
