Seeing more ductless systems in older homes now.
It's becoming a common request (especially for retrofits). What's your approach for these installs?

Start by praying the old plaster walls don't crumble when you drill the hole. My approach mostly involves creative cursing and hoping I measured right the first time. It works out more often than you'd think.

Diamond core bits are a lifesaver for those plaster walls. Went through clean as a whistle last time without any cracks.
