Vent: That 'just use vinegar' thing for cleaning showerheads is a total myth

I soaked my showerhead in vinegar for 8 hours last week and the mineral buildup barely budged lol. Has anyone actually had this work or is it just internet fluff?

Wait, is scrubbing a showerhead really that big of a deal? I just wipe mine down with a rag once a month and it's fine.

Vinegar alone is weak against heavy buildup, try wrapping the showerhead in a bag with CLR or a calcium-specific descaler instead for a few hours. That stuff actually dissolves the crust.
