Everyone tells me it's a bad move for mini landscapes. I swear by it for fast, sturdy cliffs. Saves a ton of time on my dioramas.

Seriously! I get the same grief for my hot glue cliffs, but @jennifer_thomas38 is right, the ugly method works when it holds up.

People give me crap for using a certain pruning cut on big limbs, says it'll wreck the tree. Been doing it for years and the trees heal fine, just looks weird to them. My crew trusts it now cause we've seen it hold through storms. Sometimes the ugly method just works, lol.
