Threw $60 at a heated cat bed and my living room is finally quiet after midnight

Tbh I thought it was a scam but my cat stopped yowling at 3am to crawl under the blankets, has anyone else tried those self-warming pads or is it just a fluke with my grumpy old tabby?

My dad's had a heated pet pad under his old dog's bed for two winters now. That thing runs almost constantly and the dog won't sleep anywhere else. I think a lot of people underestimate how much joint pain hits older animals. The warmth just settles them down. Sounds like your cat knows what's good for it.

Wait, is your dad secretly running a doggy spa out of his living room or what? Honestly, that pad probably sees more action than half the beds in my house. Ngl, I bet the dog's been giving him the stink eye if he even thinks about turning it off. Tbh, I'm half tempted to grab one for myself after hearing that.
