Just realized I wasted $300 on fancy acoustic foam panels off Amazon

Spent a ton on those wedge foam panels thinking they'd fix my room echo, only to find out from a guy on YouTube that cheap moving blankets from Harbor Freight do the same job for like 30 bucks. Has anyone else fallen for that marketing hype before?
