inHot take: the BeltLine got worse after the paving finished in 2023
Hang on though, that scooter company thing doesn't sound right. I actually talked to a BeltLine staffer at a neighborhood meeting last spring and she said the speakers were part of the original design contract, not something a rental company paid for. The scooter guys just crank up the volume because nobody stops them.

inPSA: I found out those 'lifetime' warranties on tools are mostly a gimmick
Or you could just buy a decent tape measure and not worry about it.

inShoutout to the guy at the supply house in Omaha who told me to use a 22/4 wire for long runs
Nah, I gotta disagree a little. Country houses can be way bigger than people think, especially if they have an older addition or a barn conversion you're running power out to. My buddy had to pull wire like 400 feet for his shop and the voltage drop calculators were screaming at him. Those extra conductors aren't for show, they actually let you run a saw or a welder without dimming the lights across the whole property. That counter guy might know his stuff if he's dealt with rural electricians who actually do this kind of work.

inUpdate: My friend tried to 'fix' my mint condition X-Men #94 at a BBQ
Yeah man, that sucks. I've had this exact thing happen with a old Star Wars #1 at a family cookout - cousin knocked over a beer and it got the corner. Water damage is tricky because it swells the paper and leaves tide marks. Best advice I got was from a guy in Ohio who does press work. He said don't try to fix it yourself with napkins or paper towels - that just pushes the stain deeper. Third Coast is solid from what I've heard, they do dry cleaning and pressing that can reduce the stain's visibility. Just call them first and be honest about it being lemonade - the sugar residue is harder to deal with than plain water.
