inThat one time I had 8 browser tabs open looking for the same info I had already saved
Oh man, the date trick is genius, I'm totally stealing that. I've been doing something similar with a "Current Projects" folder but I never thought to add when I saved stuff. My problem was I'd bookmark a tutorial for some CSS thing and then three months later find it and not remember if I actually used it or not. Now I just dump everything into folders by week number like "Week 11" and clear them out every Sunday. It's stupid simple but it actually works because you're forced to deal with it on a schedule instead of letting it pile up.

inRant: People keep skipping the first three miles of the Lost Coast Trail and it's a bad idea
Sometimes skipping that soft sand keeps your legs fresh for the actual hard parts though... The real challenge comes later and you need all the energy you can save up for it.

inWatching a guy at the county fair confidently explain his 'secret' to perfect sourdough, only to see him pull a flat, dense brick from his oven.
Gotta love how deep people get about bread lately.

inSharknado marathon almost ruined movie night for good
Ngl I read this article once about how food scientists literally engineer snacks to hit that 'bliss point' where you can't stop eating but get zero satisfaction. It's all salt, sugar, and chemical flavorings designed to bypass your brain's natural fullness signals. The whole hollow and confused feeling afterwards is your body realizing it got nothing real from the experience.

inJust found out most extension cord ratings are for 25ft max, not 100ft
Huh, you're almost right but you got the relationship backwards a bit. Actually longer cords have more resistance which means they can carry less current safely, not more. So that 100 footer was likely dropping voltage and causing your saw to draw more amps to compensate, which is why the breaker popped.
