That 1996 Goosebumps VHS box set was a total rip off, $60 I'll never see again
Back in 98 I saved up my allowance to buy the complete Goosebumps VHS box set from a mall kiosk in Phoenix. It claimed 12 episodes but two of the tapes were blank and one was just static for 20 minutes. I called the number on the box and got a disconnected line, and the mall kiosk was gone the next week. Has anyone else got burned by those random vendor tables that popped up near the food court?

Those kiosk guys probably saw you coming and dipped before the static even cleared.
