inGave up my PS5 for a month to try the Switch OLED, here's what broke me
Nine days is about right for that switch. I did something similar with my truck and my wife's little Honda for a week when gas hit $4.10, and by day five I was miserable squeezing into that thing. Same thing happens with phones too, people jump to the new shiny one and come crawling back once the honeymoon feeling wears off. The stuff you actually do every day beats the cool stuff you only do sometimes.

inMy barber on Edgewood told me he's been cutting hair for 29 years and never once raised prices mid-cut
29 years and he still charges what's on the sign, that's wild. My barber on Moreland bumped his price from $18 to $25 back in 2021 and I acted like he'd personally raised my rent. I even thought about finding a new spot for like a week, then realized nobody else was gonna get my hairline right so I just paid it and shut up. Marcus sounds like a real one, but honestly I'm the problem, I'd probably tip less if the price jumped and then feel bad about it for three days. That paper book on Ponce is a nice touch too, my guy has one but he lost it and now it's just a napkin.

inCracked crimp connectors on a 2018 Cessna 172, this little test caught it
Watching the insulation flex under pressure is basically the crimp connector equivalent of a trust fall. Half of them pass the meter test and then fall apart the second you look at them wrong. Honestly I just keep a spare connector in my pocket and swap it out when one starts acting shady, way faster than playing detective on every wire.
