Rant: everyone sets their nap alarm for 30 minutes and that's why you wake up groggy
I see people in here saying set a 30 minute alarm and I want to pull my hair out. The clock counts the time you spend falling asleep, so if it takes you 10 minutes to drift off, you only got 20 minutes of sleep and you're cutting into deep sleep on the back end. I tried 30 minutes for a month and felt wrecked every single time, like someone unplugged me. Switched to setting my alarm for 20 minutes and I'm up before I hit the deep stuff, groggy feeling is gone maybe 4 out of 5 days now. If you need a cushion, set it for 25 max and let the falling asleep time eat the extra. What's your actual sweet spot number, and do you count the falling asleep part or just the alarm?
