inCan we talk about edge loops being easier than subdividing for a sofa?
Edge loops are the answer for hard surface stuff like furniture. Subdividing a cube works fine for blobby shapes, but a sofa has flat panels and sharp seams, so you need control over where the creases land. Every tutorial pushes subdivide first because it is easy to show on camera, but it leaves you with that melted look you cannot fix later. Once you place your loops by hand, the corners stay crisp and the whole mesh stays low poly. I wasted weeks on the same problem before someone told me to just box model it with loops from the start.

inMy load chart binder got soaked and I winged it anyway
Guess the load chart doesn't survive a hydraulic bath, that's terrifying.

inMy sister's blunt comment about soggy wings fixed my whole air fryer game
Found the same trick works with a whole chicken if you let it sit in the fridge for like two days, total game changer.
