Just realized the "AI can't count fingers" thing flipped on me, and now I don't know what to trust
Back in March I was laughing with my buddy about how AI image tools always gave people 6 fingers. Then we tested Midjourney v6 on 30 hand prompts and counted the fingers ourselves. 28 out of 30 came back right, even the tricky ones with hands crossed.
So now I'm stuck. Do I trust the new stuff and stop checking every output? Or keep being the annoying guy who zooms in on hands because the old models burned me? Feels like both sides have a point.
What's the last AI thing you were sure was garbage, and what made you change your mind?
