Shoutout to the AI that reorganized my entire photo mess in 2 hours

I had like 14,000 photos scattered across 3 drives and folders named 'final_FINAL_v2' and stuff like that. Ran one of those new auto-tagging models, the one from the Google Photos update last month, and it sorted everything by faces, places, and even duplicate detection. It flagged 400+ exact copies that were eating like 6GB of space. Has anyone else tried using AI to clean up their files, or am I just lazy?

Dang, that's a huge relief to hear! I totally get the pain of having a digital junk drawer like that. I did the same thing with my laptop last month and I swear, that duplicate finder alone saved me from buying another external drive. It honestly felt a little weird letting the computer make those calls about my own photos, but the end result was so clean it was worth it. You're not lazy at all, that's just smart use of the tools we have now. I bet you're already finding photos you forgot you even had.
